After reading a long book, its hard for me to jump into another one because I am still attached to the previous book and characters I like to savour So, to keep myself continually reading, I pick up something light and inspiring Deseret came out with a book called Time Out for Women Live, Love and Learn Its filled with devotional messages for women by various authors and artists and their positive out look on life One of my favorite messages is a metaphor written by Virgina Hinckley Pearce Allow [...]

I ve had this for almost two years Shhh, don t tell my mom who bought it for me However, I d have to say that, on a personal level, it did me good lately than it would have done two years ago I loved that there were several different authors I loved that they weren t lengthy chapters, but also not one paragraph devotional thoughts Almost all chapters had something that resonated with me in my life right now I m sure that many people would be able to find several things, too I give this five sta [...]

This book has short, inspirational messages from men and women I really enjoyed it and wrote down some thoughts in my journal from the book For example, Merrilee Boyack talked about having gratitude for small things throughout the day She said she was grateful for microwaves, curling irons, use of her legs, etc just several things that we often take for granted I thought that was an especially good reminder.

This book was good It was very easy to read, because every thought was only 2 3 short pages But I was probably only THRILLED with maybe ten of the ones I read You know, where I thought I could use it in a talk or lesson some day But it was an easy read, and like I said, I really liked a few of their thoughts


    7. I love time out for women and I don t get to go this year I thought this little book would give me the inspiration I needed even though it is not the real thing I loved the spirit of this book I would recommned it to anyone who is feeling stressed out.


    8. These short devotional thoughts are very uplifting and inspiring I appreciated the down to earth language and related to each story shared I ll pick this up again whenever I need a quick pick me up.
